Respect means “I treat others the way I want them to treat me”

Older students, teens, adults:

Respect means showing appreciation for the value in ourselves and others.
“Treating others the way you want to be treated.”

Generosity

Young students

Generosity means “I give and share with others!”

Older students, teens, adults:

Generosity is making a habit of giving and sharing with others.

Determination

Young students

Determination means “I’ve got a ‘no-quit, go for it’ attitude!”

Older students, teens, adults:

Determination is the attitude needed to define a goal and then follow through to the end.  (A no quit, go for it attitude)

Honesty

Young students:

“I show and tell the truth!”

Older students, teens, adults:

Honesty means being straightforward and truthful in words and in actions

Compassion

Young students:

“I want to help you feel better.”

Older students, teens, adults:

Compassion is the desire to ease the pain and suffering of others.

Camaraderie

Younger students:

Camaraderie means: “We’re all so happy to be good friends!”

Older students, teens and adults:

Camaraderie means: In the spirit of friendship and goodwill.
