Girls “Kick It” at BLS

On January 10th, BLS girls had an awesome time “Kickin’ It“ at the all-girl Focus Group in preparation of the February 7th workshop! Very recently, Balanced Life Skills has been contacted by two local Anne Arundel County Schools to support SIXTY homeless students this holiday season. Art In Mind: VIsual Arts Program

This past Monday, February 18 was the first Art In Mind (AIM) session for students and friends of Balanced Life Skills! The pioneer group of 12 elementary-aged students had a great hands on experience learning about Alberto Giacometti and his sculptures – read the attached PDF file here for more information about their project! Operation: BuddyPack

Operation: BuddyPack was a huge success! Thank you to every student and family who contributed for the backpacks to be filled with toiletries, school supplies, and games or toys to pass the time! Thousands of children in the New Jersey and New York area are without homes and all of the comforts that a home usually brings.
